For the past 40 years, New Cosmos Electric have been researching and developing highly sensitive and highly selective hydrogen gas sensors. Currently, our gas detection and alarm systems are installed in approximately 80% of hydrogen stations across Japan. You will also find our sensors in the hydrogen powered FCV vehicle Toyota Mirai. Next to the Automotive industry we have developed residential battery powered hydrogen detectors which already have successfully been installed in many pilot projects where households run on 100% hydrogen as an alternative power source for heating.
