Under the NORTHSEA HYDROGEN – Offshore Farm brand, four experienced entrepreneurs have founded Germany’s first project company dedicated to planning and developing green hydrogen production facilities within offshore wind farms. The founders have been active in the offshore wind energy sector for over 20 years and have played a pivotal role in shaping its development in Germany and globally.
Now that offshore wind energy has become established worldwide, the next logical step is to harness the full potential of this form of energy generation and - alongside electrons - utilize molecules to drive the transformation of energy systems.
We are firmly convinced of the value of a holistic, systemic view of energy systems; consequently, the interconnection of electricity and gas grids - the transition from electrons to molecules—will play a pivotal role in the future. From an economic perspective, too, this is by far the best solution.
