PVF Mesh & Screen Technology GmbH is a European specialist in precision-woven technical meshes and advanced material solutions for demanding industrial applications. In partnership with NBC Meshtec, Japan, we combine decades of weaving expertise with application-focused engineering, local technical support and direct access to the European market.
For the hydrogen industry, our focus is on precision-woven polymer meshes for critical functions within electrolyzer membranes and stacks. Our solutions include ultra-thin membrane reinforcement meshes, functional spacer meshes and custom-engineered woven structures for PEM, AEM and alkaline electrolysis applications.
Our portfolio includes high-performance polymers such as PEEK and PPS. Depending on material and construction, woven structures with thicknesses down to approximately 40 µm and open areas of up to 70% are available. Mesh parameters such as thickness, aperture, yarn diameter, open area, width and mechanical properties can be selected or developed according to the specific requirements of the application.
PVF works closely with membrane developers, stack engineers, R&D teams and electrolyzer manufacturers from initial material evaluation and prototyping through qualification and industrial supply. Rather than offering only standard mesh products, our approach is to understand the function the woven structure needs to perform and identify or develop the most suitable construction.
Beyond hydrogen technology, PVF supplies precision meshes, technical textiles and advanced material solutions for filtration, screen printing and other high-performance industrial applications.
