For almost 65 years, Roth Composite Machinery, based in Steffenberg, Germany, has been developing and manufacturing advanced Filament Winding systems for a wide range of composite applications. The company also has nearly 30 years of experience in designing fully automated production lines, enabling efficient manufacturing with short setup times and high process reliability. For more than 35 years machines for producing Prepreg-materials are also part of the product program.
Roth's Filament Winding systems combine precision, flexibility, and scalability. They process all common reinforcement fibers and cover applications ranging from lightweight components of just 500 grams to large structures weighing up to 120 tonnes. For high-volume manufacturing, the systems can be equipped with multiple parallel winding units to maximize productivity.
For decades, Roth's automation technology has supported the serial production of tubes and (pressure) vessels worldwide. To complement its production solutions, the company also offers pilot plants for Filament Winding and Prepreg technologies, allowing customers to develop, validate, and optimize products and manufacturing processes before industrial-scale implementation.
From engineering and process development to commissioning and after-sales support, Roth Composite Machinery provides comprehensive expertise for demanding composite manufacturing projects across industries such as pressure vessels (for transport and/or storing of Hydrogen, CNG and LPG) aerospace, defense, sports & leisure, automotive, and energy.
