Sonplas – Testing Technology for Real Fuels and Electrolyzer Stacks
With over 30 years of experience in assembly and testing technology, Sonplas develops customized testing solutions for fuel-carrying components and electrolyzer stacks.
Our test benches enable functional and durability testing with real fuels and media, including hydrogen, methanol, ammonia, eFuels, gasoline, diesel and other alternative fuels. The systems are tailored to specific customer requirements and allow precise testing under defined operating conditions. The portfolio is complemented by the IAV Cross Injection Analyzer family for determining flow characteristics.
Sonplas also develops modular test benches for electrolyzer stacks across various power classes. Our solutions cover technologies and applications such as Alkaline Electrolysis (AEL), Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolysis (AEM), Proton Exchange Membrane Electrolysis (PEM), Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOEC) and CO₂ Electrolysis (CO₂RR). The systems can be flexibly adapted to individual testing requirements.
At the Hydrogen Technology Expo, Sonplas will present an AEM electrolyzer stack test bench, demonstrating its expertise in customized testing technology for hydrogen production.
