Spiral Hydrogen builds bubble-free electrolyzers to make green hydrogen cheaper than fossil hydrogen.
Gas bubbles are the hidden bottleneck of electrolysis. They cling to electrodes, waste energy, and force systems to be large and expensive. The industry has learned to live with bubbles. We built an electrolyzer that prevents them.
In our rotating alkaline design, hydrogen and oxygen escape through the electrodes after they form, rather than bubbling up through the liquid. Rotation keeps the electrolyte moving, so no pumps are needed. The result: up to 95% efficiency and a simpler stack that's an order of magnitude cheaper and lasts longer.
