Backed by 60 years of excellence in LNG transfer, TBG is a partner of choice for innovative energy-transfer solutions for liquids and gases at ambient, elevated, or cryogenic temperatures. For several years, TBG has been developing a liquid hydrogen loading arm. Given the specific challenges of cryogenic hydrogen, we extensively tested multiple concepts before finalizing our current pilot design in Kobe. Japan’s first commercial pilot project for the supply of three 6-inch LH2 loading arms has now been sanctioned and is scheduled for start-up in 2030. We are proud to pioneer this development and demonstrate our readiness for future demand as the LH2 supply chain scales up. TBG’s research and development are guided by the evolving energy landscape, with a focus on operational safety, workforce constraints, reliability, and predictive maintenance—key concerns for our customers today.
