Toyota Industries Corporation has developed high-performance alkaline water electrolysis electrodes (Anode and Cathode) without precious metals or cobalt as a new business initiative.
Utilizing proprietary nickel-based catalyst materials, the electrodes achieve 84% Electrolysis Efficiency at 600 mA/cm² with high durability.
Advanced manufacturing technologies enable Meter-scale electrode production, and we are now ready to provide full-scale electrodes for customer evaluation.
By combining high-performance electrode technology with scalable manufacturing processes, we aim to contribute to the widespread adoption of green hydrogen. We are currently advancing commercialization activities with a target launch around 2028.
