Unisense makes sensors for measuring hydrogen and other gases directly inside reactors and process systems.
If you work in hydrogen production research, including water splitting, green electrolysis, biomethanation, or CO₂ conversion, our inline H₂ sensors give you continuous, real-time readings of dissolved and gaseous hydrogen. Because the sensors are small and cost-effective, you can place several at different points in your reactor to reveal gradients that a single sample point would miss.
You can mount it in several ways with a steel tube, piercing needle, or flow cell, so it fits your setup, whether that is a lab cuvette or a pilot- or industrial-scale reactor. You get a response in under 15 seconds, in both liquid and gas phase, at pressures up to 20 bar.
Other researchers have used this approach to catch process drift early in biomethanation reactors, monitor feed ratios and safety in bioelectrochemical CO₂-to-fuel systems, and quantify hydrogen output from photocatalytic and thermochemical water-splitting setups.
You can connect our instruments, amplifiers, and software into a complete measurement system, so you can log, profile, and analyze data from one or several channels at once. The same sensor platform also measures O₂, H₂S, N₂O, and more.
