Vanmok Leak Detection Technologies Inc. is a Canadian pipeline technology company developing advanced simulation and leak detection solutions for CO₂ transportation infrastructure. Vanmok supports pipeline operators, CCS project developers, and engineering teams in addressing the complex thermodynamic and transient behavior of dense-phase and supercritical CO₂ pipelines.
The Vanmok DensePhase™ CO₂ Simulator is designed for pre-FEED, FEED, design studies, what-if scenario analysis, and operational digital-twin applications. Its thermodynamic and transient modeling capabilities address critical challenges associated with near-critical CO₂ behavior, phase transitions, impurities, and rapid decompression, conditions where conventional pipeline models can introduce significant uncertainty.
The simulator enables engineers to evaluate pipeline operating envelopes, pressure and temperature profiles, phase stability, compressor/booster station requirements, seasonal and elevation effects, impurity sensitivity, startup and shutdown transients, controlled blowdown, leaks, and rupture/decompression scenarios. Outputs can also support fracture-control, integrity, emergency-response, and dispersion-modeling workflows.
Vanmok combines its CO₂ simulation expertise with extensive experience in pipeline leak detection. Its physics-based models can generate Synthetic Leak Tests (SLTs) for evaluating and validating leak detection systems across realistic pipeline operating conditions.
