Accelerate Innovation for Sustainable Technology with H2Pro Sealing Materials

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions H2Pro™ sealing material range is specifically designed to accelerate innovations for sustainable technology, offering solutions across the hydrogen value chain – from production, transport and storage, to end-use. The materials are proven to resist the extreme conditions of real-world hydrogen applications, including high pressures, low temperatures and permeation, while demonstrating excellent wear and extrusion properties, and are backed by the service of Trelleborg’s sector-leading engineers able to offer custom solutions.

Trelleborg leverages its state-of-the-art in-house R&D facilities to continually push the boundaries of hydrogen sealing validation. Where no suitable standards existed, our experts designed proprietary test programs to prove the performance of the H2Pro™ range, providing customer confidence in the materials. These tests are based on existing and enhanced versions of accepted standards and adapted to real-world hydrogen application conditions in advanced testing rigs. All H2Pro™ materials are validated for hydrogen compatibility, rapid gas decompression, endurance pressure cycling and oxygen and ozone aging,

The expanding range offers proven sealing solutions in EPDMs, FKMs, silicones, PUs, plastics and metals. H2Pro™ supports the energy, power generation, off-highway, truck and bus, chemical processing and transportation, aerospace and marine industries with solutions for a wide array of applications including pumps, valves, connectors and numerous other devices.
