Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Technology World Expo Marks Landmark Success in Hamburg

Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Technology World Expo Marks Landmark Success in Hamburg

London, United Kingdom – Hydrogen Technology World Expo and Carbon Capture Technology World Expo, delivered by Trans-Global Events, had taken centre stage in Hamburg, marking a major milestone in the global push toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.

With 946 exhibitors and 18,684 visits recorded across three days, Hydrogen Technology World Expo demonstrated the remarkable scale and strength of its community. The event now stands among the largest in the entire CloserStill Media portfolio and proudly remains the world’s biggest exhibition dedicated to hydrogen, fuel cell, and carbon capture technologies.

This year’s edition wasn’t just a measure of growth, but of resilience. Across every hall at Hamburg Messe, the message was clear: the industry is ready. Engineers, innovators, and investors gathered around a shared conviction; hydrogen and carbon capture are central to tackling global emissions, and the companies leading this charge are ready to deliver.

“The show continues to go from strength to strength each year, and it’s incredible to see how the conversations taking place here are turning into real, lasting impact,” said Charlie Brandon, Managing Director at Trans-Global Events. “The collaboration we are seeing with governing bodies, world-leading service providers, manufacturers, end users & industry associations is growing year on year, driving genuine change and giving this event even greater purpose within such a vital and forward thinking industry.”

From cutting-edge technology showcases to high-level discussions on investment and strategy, Hydrogen Technology World Expo has cemented its place as a cornerstone event for the global energy transition.

The event forms part of the global Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Technology Expo series. While Hamburg stands as the flagship edition, the North American show has become the largest dedicated hydrogen exhibition in the region. A new MENA edition will launch in the summer of 2026, spotlighting the policies, infrastructure, and technical innovations shaping progress across the GCC & North African regions.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this landmark event to life. A true reflection of how collaboration and innovation continue to drive the clean-energy transition.

Hydrogen Technology World Expo will be back in Hamburg on the 20th – 22nd October 2026.
