Bernhard Loher has been leading the Product & Technology department for Excitation within ABB Energy Industries since January 2023. In this role, he oversees a global team dedicated to empowering customers with cutting-edge solutions and services that ensure power stability and reliability through advanced excitation and rectifier technologies. With over 20 years of experience in the automation, power, and utilities sectors, Bernhard has held various managerial and engineering positions. Prior to his current role he led the global thermal power generation segment and the automation service business in Central Europe.
