Charles is a chartered mechanical engineer with over 25 years of diverse experience in developing technologies from initial proof-of-principle to commercial deployment. Since graduating from the University of Cambridge in Engineering and the Royal College of Art in Industrial Design Engineering, he has worked on the development of a broad spectrum of products including industrial systems, domestic appliances, personal protective equipment, medical devices, communication equipment and security hardware. In the Energy and Process Technologies team at TTP, Charles and colleagues form teams that deliver engineering and development projects for start-ups and ambitious multinationals. These teams are accelerating the deployment of first-of-a-kind equipment, improving performance, and reducing costs. Their work includes development of equipment for carbon capture, green hydrogen production, low-carbon metal processing, and the production of green fuel and green chemicals.
