Claus L'beck Christensen
Claus L'beck Christensen is an Environmental Specialist at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Milj'styrelsen), with a background as a civil engineer and a strong focus on green transition and sustainable development. He has played a pivotal role in all CO? capture projects in Denmark, including engaging in dialogue with amine-based solvent providers, technology providers, and research institutions. He was instrumental in granting Denmark's first environmental permit for CO? capture at a waste incineration plant, with a capacity to capture up to 500,000 tons of CO? annually.
Claus has also been involved in a number of PtX projects, providing regulative support to the initiatives.
His work emphasizes Denmark's engagement in EU environmental regulations, ensuring that Danish industries operate on a level playing field while advancing the country's green transition.
