Dr Csaba Jan'ky is an associate professor at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He is the principal investigator of the Electrochemistry Research Group, supported by the European Research. He formed his electrochemical CO2 conversion team in 2017, when he received the ERC starting grant and also a dedicated grant from the Hungarian Innovation Fund to develop energy-oriented electrolyser technologies. He is a recognized expert of materials science oriented electrochemistry. He has published over 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals with an overall impact factor of 1100, and filed over 20 patents in the past 10 years.
