Dr. Gesa Netzeband is Managing Director of DGMK, German Society for Sustainable Energy, Mobility and Carbon Cycles. With a background in geoscience, Gesa has spent a few years in academic research before entering the E&P industry, where she has worked 12 years in various positions. She has led multi-disciplinary teams in exploration and business development projects and has been involved in projects on strategic corporate level. As lead portfolio and digital self services she has promoted Digital Transformation before joining DGMK - a non-profit society engaged in scientific-technological exchange between research and industry focussing on current and future energy carriers and industrial carbon cycles.
