Peter M'ller-Baum studied civil engineering as well as business management at the RWTH Aachen University, graduating with degrees in Engineering and Business Administration. He is with the VDMA since 2005. In 2012, M'ller-Baum became Deputy Managing Director, in 2014 Managing Director of VDMA Engines and Systems that represents the interests of European manufacturers of internal combustion engines for industrial applications and their suppliers. Since 2013, Peter M'ller-Baum also serves as Secretary General of CIMAC e.V., the leading global non-profit association promoting the development of ship propulsion and power generation. In 2018, M'ller-Baum became Managing Director of the VDMA platform "Power-to-X for Applications", too. This is the information, communication and cooperation platform of VDMA for the P2X community and integrates important stakeholders and players along the value chain, in particular the plant engineering sector including their suppliers.
