Raphael R'cken has more than 10 years of experience in technical consultancy and project management within Waste-to-Energy (WtE), CCUS and is in the team management of the Sustainability Network in Ramboll Energy. As Business Development Manager, Raphael is responsible for the German Carbon Capture and Energy-from-Waste market. Raphael holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering. A MBA master degree complements his technical background with a deep insight into management and economical subjects. He has acted as overall project manager in multidisciplinary CCUS and Energy projects in the Swiss, Austrian and German market and internationally. He has broad technical insight, comprehensive knowledge and experience within decarbonization of the energy sector, Energy from Waste, waste heat utilization and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage. Thanks to his background and his work experience, he has developed a comprehensive multidisciplinary technical understanding as well as organisational and management skills. He is also an excellent communicator and successfully managed many proposals, why he has taken over the role as business development manager for the German market. Raphael is dedicated to advancing decarbonization and sustainable energy solutions in the German market.
