Achim Schaadt is the head of the department "Sustainable Synthesis Products" in the Hydrogen Technologies Division at Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg. Together with his 50 colleagues, his research addresses technologies such as direct air capture, thermochemical hydrogen production, and the sustainable synthesis of chemicals and fuels. He holds a PhD in chemical engineering from TU Kaiserslautern.
