Andrea Guati Rojo is the Policy and Advocacy Manager at Ammonia Europe. In this role, she leads regulatory engagement on developments affecting the ammonia sector and works with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and partner organisations to position low-carbon ammonia as a strategic enabler of industrial decarbonisation, the maritime transition, and European energy and food security.
Previously, she was the Head of Stakeholder Relations at the Ammonia Energy Association, where she worked on international policy engagement, industry collaboration, and the development of certification and safety initiatives for ammonia. Andrea has more than ten years of experience across engineering, policy, and communications in Europe and Latin America. She holds a PhD from Cardiff University (UK) on ammonia as an energy vector, alongside an MSc in Sustainable Energy and Environment and a BA in Communication and Government Affairs.
