Dr. Begoña Buades is an Application Development Scientist at Imerys Graphite & Carbon (IGC), where she specialises in the development of carbon materials for fuel cells and other energy conversion technologies, including electrolysers and supercapacitors. With over four years of dedicated industry experience, she has successfully driven the development of internal capabilities for the analysis of IGC materials, directly enhancing the performance and characterisation of fuel cell components. Dr. Buades holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Materials Science Institute of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC). Currently based in Switzerland, she is a multilingual professional fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, bringing a global perspective to her scientific research and collaborations.
