Profile

Blair is a chartered process engineer with 12 years of diverse experience across sectors (CCS, oil & gas, biogas & renewables) and disciplines (process, well performance, flow assurance and technology development), with recent experience in management. He joined DNV in 2024 as a Senior Consultant within the CCUS Venture at DNV, utilising his expertise in carbon capture technology, operation and risk management to support the needs of clients in this dynamic sector. Blair has over 3 years of experience testing carbon capture technologies at industrial scale at Technology Centre Mongstad in Norway. Here he engaged in technical and project management of demonstration scale test campaigns of CO2 capture technologies including amine and non-amine capture technologies. Much of his recent work has been focussed on the interfaces between CO2 capture and transport, helping clients tackle challenges in CO2 treatment, compression, liquefaction and measurement.
