Craig is from Sydney, Australia, and has a Science degree and an MBA from the University of Sydney. As a co-founder of Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies in 2003, Craig has been instrumental in the company becoming a cornerstone of the hydrogen sector, achieving hard-won success in numerous sectors through continuous innovation in both product platforms and applications. Horizon has enjoyed substantial success with commercial vehicle powertrains in the Chinese market, and leveraged the core fuel cell technology to develop MW-scale emission-free solutions for despatchable power generation. Horizon recently announced the deployment of the world’s first 5MW AEM electrolyser with proprietary membrane technology, expected to deliver lower LCOH compared to incumbent technologies. Craig led the carve-out of HYZON Motors as a free-standing “fuel cell trucking” subsidiary in 2020. Craig was temporarily based in the USA for 2.5 years setting up HYZON, and subsequently returned to Horizon when HYZON became independent in late 2022.
