Dr. Dirk Nuber is Project Development Director at Climeworks and Managing Director of Climeworks Deutschland GmbH. He leads the development of large-scale Direct Air Capture and carbon removal projects across international markets, helping advance solutions that enable permanent CO₂ removal. Through Climeworks Germany, he has been involved in the development of DAC-based carbon supply solutions for Power-to-X and synthetic fuel applications, working at the intersection of carbon management, renewable energy and industrial decarbonisation. Dirk holds a PhD in Process Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and an Executive MBA from IE Business School and brings more than 25 years of international experience in engineering, business development and project execution.
