Dominic Pliszka is a strategic field development leader with over 30 years of experience in offshore and subsea engineering, specialising in early-stage concept development, system integration, and the delivery of complex offshore energy projects. As Field Development Manager at Subsea7, he leads the company's activities in hydrogen, carbon capture and storage (CCUS), and subsea energy systems, with a particular focus on developing scalable and commercially viable solutions for the energy transition. Over the past five years, Dominic has led or contributed to a wide range of offshore hydrogen studies covering centralised, semi-centralised, decentralised, and floating production concepts, working closely with developers, technology providers, transmission operators, research organisations, and government-funded programmes across Europe. He has overseen the development of advanced techno-economic modelling capabilities used to evaluate project viability and optimise integrated offshore energy systems. Dominic is recognised for combining deep engineering expertise with techno-economic analysis, stakeholder engagement, and innovative concept development, helping clients and consortium partners make informed investment decisions.
