Dr Eugene McKenna, FRSC Eugene is Senior Advisor Hydrogen and Sustainable Technologies at Johnson Matthey. Eugene is passionate about using innovative, sustainable technologies to achieve energy security and resilience and this has been the focus of his 9 years at JM in senior roles in strategy, technology and business development. JM designs, manufactures and recycles critical components at the heart of PEM fuel cells and electrolysers, and as well as being the world’s leading refiner and recycler of the platinum group metals essential for the energy transition. He is a Management Board Member at the Hydrogen Council. Prior to JM Eugene worked for an energy major for more than 20 years.
