Guido Kuiper is a seasoned energy professional with a PhD in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where he specialized in fluid-structure interaction. Since joining Shell in 2008, he has held diverse leadership roles across engineering and strategy, including Engineering Manager in Norway and Business Advisor to Shell’s Project & Technology Director. Currently based at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam, Guido leads decarbonisation efforts focused on hard-to-abate sectors. He brings a systems-thinking mindset and a passion for deploying innovative technologies to accelerate the energy transition. Outside of work, Guido enjoys an active family life with his spouse and three children, often found playing sports together.
