Ingo Fischer is the Sales Director at Bloom Energy, responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in Germany and Austria. His core focus is on building robust partnerships and accelerating the adoption of Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) technologies across both markets. With over 20 years of international experience in the energy industry, Ingo has successfully developed new business and built profitable partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, South Africa, and North America. Prior to joining Bloom Energy, he held several Account Director roles at Shell, specializing in the power generation sector. In his most recent role at Shell Renewables & Energy Solutions, Ingo led the development of sustainability partnerships with global leaders in the commercial and industrial sectors, as well as with utilities. His work focused on advancing integrated energy solutions, including renewable power, biogas, microgrids, battery energy storage systems (BESS), low-carbon fuels, and carbon capture and storage (CCS). Known for his consultative approach, ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, and passion for emerging technologies, Ingo blends entrepreneurial drive with corporate discipline to accelerate the energy transition. He lives with his family in the Greater Hamburg Area and is deeply committed to helping businesses achieve their net-zero ambitions.
