Jonas Lötscher is Managing Director at Airfix, where he leads the company’s advisory services for bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) projects, with a particular focus on project finance and the development of CO₂ emitter clusters. He brings over 15 years of consulting experience, working with government entities, technology companies and development organisations across Europe, the Arab region and Africa. Prior to joining Airfix, Jonas worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he led large-scale digital transformation projects in Mauritania and Kenya. Jonas holds an MBA from the University of Bradford with a focus on innovation, an MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute for Development Studies in Geneva, and an MA in Conflict Management from the University of Kent.
