Olivier is an entrepreneur specializing in efficient energy transformation. Shortly after earning his degree in Chemical Engineering in 2000, he founded HTceramix, a company focused on fuel cells and electrolysers, which is known today as SolydEra. In this role, he actively participated in and increasingly initiated and secured numerous RTD (Research, Technology, and Development) projects. From 2010 to 2013, he took on the role of coordinator for one of these projects. His active involvement extended to the proposal process for the Annual Work Programs. Between 2015 and 2022, Olivier led Technical Committee 4, Stationary Fuel Cells, and additionally served as the Vice Chair of the Coordination Group. During this period, he played a significant role in drafting the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the current Clean Hydrogen Partnership. From 2021 till end of 2025, he supported various Hydrogen Europe initiatives on the technological and strategic level as Principal Advisor Technology. In this role, he also served as Governing Board Member of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership in the period of November 2023 till October 2024. Over the last two years, he was heavily involved in the revision exercise for the KPI of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda of the current Clean Hydrogen Partnership. Since 2010 and up till today, Olivier has held the position of President at the European Electrolyser and Fuel Cell Forum (EFCF), a prestigious European event that focuses on the science and technology of fuel cells and hydrogen. In this capacity, he has co-edited an annual Special Issue of "Fuel Cell – From Fundamentals to Systems," published by Wiley, since 2012.
