Peter Kristensen leads CO₂ Hub Europe, an independent, non-commercial platform focused on enabling a functioning European market for CO₂ transport and permanent storage. His work centres on the system-level conditions required to scale CCS across Europe, including infrastructure sequencing, cross-border coordination, open and non-discriminatory access, risk allocation, and the alignment of capture support with transport and storage readiness. He has contributed to analysis of Denmark’s potential role as a European CO₂ hub and to broader discussions on how national frameworks, regional infrastructure plans and European market design can be aligned.
