The German Gas and Hydrogen Industry
Since 2013 Dr Kehler has served as President of Germany’s leading gas and hydrogen advocacy group, DIE GAS- UND
WASSERSTOFFWIRTSCHAFT (The German Gas and Hydrogen Industry). He has also been a member of the Governing
Board of Eurogas, the association representing the European gas industry, since January 2023, and a member of the
NOW Advisory Board since November 2023. Dr Kehler holds a PhD in production engineering from the Technical
University of Berlin and was named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum in 2007.
