Profile

Vibeke Andersson currently holds the position as Head of Technical Operation in the Aftermarket division of SLB Capturi. She has extensive technical and managerial experience in carbon capture and environmental projects, covering the full value chain from technology screening, R&D, and concept studies through FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, performance testing, and operational support. As an early employee in several emerging companies, she has played a key role in establishing operational systems, procedures, and performance frameworks for commercial CO₂ capture facilities. Within SLB Capturi, she has held a number of leadership positions, including R&D Manager, Engineering Manager, Technology Manager, and Technology Advisor. In her current role, she focuses on optimizing the operation and performance of CO₂ capture plants to maximize value creation for customers, the company, and the climate. Vibeke holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
