Solving Heat Treansfer Demands for Sour Lean Gas with Split Header Design and API 661 Compliance
Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger - Lean Gas Cooler

Dolphin Group was entrusted with the design, manufacture, and supply of the "Buhasa De-Bottlenecking" project for ADNOC Gas, tailored for high-pressure lean gas cooling applications

Despite the project timeline aligning with the peak of the global pandemic, Dolphin Group proudly reflects on its successful contribution to ADNOC Gas’ Buhasa De-Bottlenecking Project, delivering a fully engineered Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger fabricated at 80 bar(G), meeting rigorous compliance with ASME BPVC SEC. VIII DIV.1 (U-Stamped) and API 661 standards.

Key Features:

  • Header Design: Split Header Box for efficient flow distribution and maintenance access
  • Configuration: Induced Draft Fan with 2 Bays, 4 Tube Bundles
  • Bundle Specs: 324 tubes per bundle, each 12 meters in length
  • Material of Construction: Carbon Steel
  • Weight: 110 TON (combined)
  • Tube-to-Tube Sheet Joint: Strength Welded & Expanded

By executing every stage of this project, from design and engineering to final supply, entirely within the UAE, DOLPHIN reinforced its commitment to in-country value and operational resilience.

This milestone showcases our core expertise in heat transfer systems and our ability to deliver under pressure, both technically and contextually.

We remain committed to supporting critical energy infrastructure with reliable, high-performance thermal solutions.
