High-Strength Steel pure hydrogen transportation pipe
This coating technology is designed for the interior of high-strength steel pipelines used for pure hydrogen transportation. It addresses the critical industry challenge of hydrogen permeation and Hydrogen-Induced Cracking in long-distance transmission. The bio-based composite coating forms an ultra-dense barrier with an extremely low hydrogen permeation rate, ensuring pipeline integrity. For connections, a specific welding process is used where pipe ends are clad. With high adhesion, excellent temperature stability (-40°C to 180°C), and superior corrosion resistance, this coating enables the safe and efficient use of existing steel infrastructure for hydrogen transport, offering a cost-effective and reliable solution.
