Kiwa’s Liquid H2 (LH2) test capabilities include cryogenic tanks, super insulated lines, and test benches for system development and testing.
We conduct qualification tests for valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and connectors under LH2 conditions.
Also material testing under LH2 conditions like hydrogen embrittlement, fracture toughness, and crack growth can be tested.
Applications range from space and aviation to automotive and maritime transport, with ongoing support for demonstrator and flight test campaigns.
Kiwa’s Gaseous H2 testing capabilities include all hydraulic and gas cycling testing, or permeation testing on cylinders and components like written f.i. automotive standards like UN ECE R134, UN ECE R110 or TPED standards like EN 17339 or EN 12245.
Both testing and certification of cylinders ánd components is part of the services Kiwa offers inside and outside of Europe.
Kiwa’s testing facilities are ISO 17025 accredited and we are a technical service.
