Ultra Low Temperature Valves For Liquified Hydrogen
Fujikin’s ultra-low temperature valve series is engineered for the precise control of liquified hydrogen (LH₂) under extreme conditions – combining high pressure capability (up to 1,000 bar) with cryogenic temperature resistance down to -253 °C. These valves are ideal for use in LH₂ storage, distribution, and vehicle refueling systems where safety, durability, and precision are paramount.
Key features include:
-
Pneumatic flow control valves with Cv values up to 1.0, suitable for high flow hydrogen applications
-
Pneumatic ON/OFF valves for reliable switching operations under cryogenic and high-pressure conditions
-
Manually operated cryogenic valves for robust, field-serviceable applications
All valves are manufactured using high-grade materials (SUH660) and are extensively tested under cryogenic and pressure cycling conditions. The compact and modular design allows for easy integration into LH₂ systems.
“Cryogenic hydrogen presents some of the most extreme engineering challenges. Our valves are designed not only to meet these conditions – but to perform consistently over time,” says Goran Ramic, Area Sales & Business Development Manager at Fujikin (Deutschland) GmbH.
