Based in Duisburg, KROHNE Messtechnik is the headquarters of the KROHNE Group, a world leading, family owned company for process instrumentation. We employ around 800 people on a site of over 40,000 square metres. Fully automated, modern production methods allow for the individual production of both the latest measuring technologies as well as classic instruments such as the variable area flowmeters with which KROHNE started its business back in 1921. Self-engineered and highly accurate calibration rigs provide the basis for high-precision measuring instruments that are individually calibrated for all customers and applications. State-of-the-art electronics manufacturing enables a flexible response to ever-changing customer needs and global markets. The sustainable development of new measuring methods has a long tradition at KROHNE: to recognise and evaluate the physical effects of flow mechanics and convert them into electrical signals. Due to digitisation, the integration of measurement technology into process automation systems has now become a top priority. Rooted in Duisburg, in constant communication with other KROHNE locations, our German production facility stands for both, tradition and innovation in measurement technology.
