Benjamin Lehner is the CEO of the Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC). DMEC is a leading accelerator and knowledge institute for offshore renewable energy innovations. At DMEC, Benjamin initiated the work on offshore multi-use with a focus on the combination of wind with solar or wave energy. Before joining DMEC, Benjamin founded a start-up on delocalised carbon capture and storage (CCS). He holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology in collaboration with NASA and a Masters in radiation biology from the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.
