CV Bumin Hatiboglu
Bumin Hatiboglu joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation
in Stuttgart, after completing his studies of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at
RWTH Aachen University in 2015. Initially he focused on applied research in Industrie 4.0-
related subjects, such as distributed machine control systems and self-x-capabilities. Over
time, he developed a passion for the impartial selection of high leverage digitalization projects.
To this day, he supports manufacturing companies from the initial planning of their digital
transformation to individual system roll-outs. Since 2022 he also leads the research group for
implementation methods for digital production. In recent years, he began to also venture into the
quickly growing hydrogen sector and currently leads the digitalization activities in H2GO. A large
research project for the fuel cell production of the future with the explicit goal to join multiple
experimental production sites into a single virtual reference factory.
