Jabulani (Jay) has a Master of Philosophy, Engineering for Sustainable Development degree from University of Cambridge and is an engineering consultant specialising in ‘Engineering for Sustainable Development’
producing research focusing on the implementation of a ‘just energy transition’ in South Africa. His expertise relates to process engineering with a particular focus on hydrogen, renewable fuels in the context
of climate change mitigation and system decarbonisation. Further, he is involved in various energy systems projects including cost of supply studies, energy programme development and power planning/regulation.
He has experience of complex projects involving multiple scopes of work with various stakeholders/clients and projects funded by government bodies and international/regional funding institutions worldwide.
