Presentation Formats

Sessions will range from 10 to 50 minutes and will include a mix of talks, panel discussions, and workshops. Presentation formats may vary, with final details confirmed by the conference producer after all submissions have closed and entries have been reviewed.

Proposals that will be given preference in the review process:

  • Talks that reveal new ways of thinking about and applying technologies to the Hydrogen Technology and Carbon Capture debate
  • Talks that feature content never seen before and not available online, but has been created specifically for this event
  • Real-world examples that show a novel application of technology or illustrate a solution to a technical challenge in an end product, including a detailed discussion of the trade-offs and choices made
  • Talks that engage the audience in a highly creative or interactive way
  • Legislative talks discussing current and possible future laws governing the material use and production processes.

We generally seek presentations that share knowledge and support the continued growth of design and innovation. Proposals focused on promoting a specific company or product will not be considered.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract/Synopsis Length: 150-200 words (approx.) focusing on original technical content
  • Content: Should prioritise evidence-based insights, engineering solutions, case studies, and data-driven outcomes. Commercial or promotional content should be avoided
  • Relevance: Must align to the hydrogen or carbon capture conference themes above.
  • Supporting Materials: Speakers are to provide short bios, headshots
  • Submission Portal: Submit your entry using the form below
  • Deadline: Wednesday 15th April 2026

If your paper is selected, all presenters will be required to submit a presentation in PowerPoint format at least one month in advance of the event to ensure guidelines are met.
